Marmaray Archaeological Excavations

Marmaray Project covers a transtportation line of a total length of 76.3 kilometers from Gebze to Halkalı. The part from Ayrılıkçeşme to Kazlıçeşme, with a length of 13.6 kilometers, consists of 1,387 meters of immersed tube tunnels, and 12,213 meters of bored tunnels and cut-and-cover tunnels. Our firm has accomplished the archaeological excavations in the Yenikapı, Sirkeci and Üsküdar station sites within the 13.6 kilometers of Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing Tunnels and Stations construction works of the Marmaray Project from 2007 to 2012, after the completion of which the actual project works were realized and the facilities became operational on 29th October, 2013. Our firm also classified and inventoried the finds from the excavations in 2013 and 2014, contributing to the unearthing of valuable information that will shed light on our history.

Yalova Passenger Dock

Kocadere village quay in Çınarcık district, Yalova province is the oldest coastal structure built by our company. It was completed and put in operation in 1986. Although it was originally built to allow the transportation of produce from Yalova province and its precincts to Istanbul Wholesale Produce Market, upon the removal of the latter from the Golden Horn it was started to be used by sand transport coasters at rst, and then by İDO (Istanbul Sea Buses) and Turyol passenger ferries as a result of increasing tourism activity in the region. The quay was constructed over reinforced concrete posts by our company and put into service in 1986.

Evyap Port Facilities

The facilities are located in İzmit Gulf coast in Yarımca, Kocaeli. Evyap Port Facilities were constructed in 2003 for the gathering and transportation of the raw materials required for the production of soap by Evyap Soap, Oil, Glycerine Industry and Trade Inc., and are viewed today as a major investment to help meet the needs of the Turkish insdusty. The following activities take place in the facilities each year: 600,000 tons/year container handling, 500,000 tons/year general cargo handling, 500,000 tons/year bulk cargo handling, 1,000,000 tons/year liquid bulk cargo handling. The facilities include 240,000 square meters of total port area, 150,000 square meters of customs area, 50,000 square meters of parking, a quay and docks of various depths with a total of 1,171 meters of berth space. Our company realized the concrete paving of the quay and hinterland as coastal construction works in years 2000 to 2003.

Bodrum Passanger-Commercial Pier

As a result of the construction of the pier, which is needed due to the increasing tourism activity on a yearly basis in our Bodrum town of Muğla province, it is thought that over one hundred thousand tourists can come to Bodrum per year with an average of 260 ships, 98 of which are cruise ships. In the ship berthing pier project, which was built by filling the 14000 m2 coastline with the facility, which was started to be built, 17 m. 200 m wide. It is aimed that giant ships carrying two thousand passengers with 20 thousand gross tonnage can dock on the pier built in length. In addition, 110 m. where private yachts and daily tour boats can dock. It is also aimed to construct a pier with a length of 65 meters and a pier where ferries can berth. Our company has undertaken the construction of the said large pier and completed the construction of the facility in 2005.

Ambarlı Port

The port facilities planned to be built at the European side of Istanbul to provide an alternative to Haydarpaşa port was given a start upon the initial request of Kumcular Group of Companies and subsequently developed into its current state through a project realized after the year 1985 upon similar requests by other companies in the same area. Our company has realized the jetty and quay constructions for Kumcular Group within Ambarlı Port Facilites. The quay, that was originally planned to accommodate sand delivery to meet the demand in the European side, was subsequently transformed into port facilities.

Eminönü Karaköy Üsküdar Turyol

Maritime transportation in Istanbul between the two sides of the Bosphorus, namely the Anatolian and the European sides, used to be performed by Turkish Maritime Lines-Cityline in the past, and İDO-Istanbul Seabuses more recently. As the services couldn’t adequately meet the demand, Turyol came into the picture to provide support. Their services still continue today and quays have been built in Karaköy, Eminönü and Üsküdar as Turyol terminals for the motorboats to dock and the passengers to board and disembark. The construction of the quay structures of all these terminals was realized by our company in years 1995-1996.

Lider Et Entegre Tesisleri

Our company undertook the completion of the integrated meat plant commissioned by Lider Group in İpsala district, Edirne, consisting of 12,000 square meters of meat processing facilities, 3,000 square meters of administrative buildings and 2,500 square meters of covered animal husbandry area, in a land of 70 ha, of which the construction had been started but remained incomplete. The work on the undertaken sections started in 2011 and was completed at the end of 2012, and the plant was put in service.

Türkter Shipyard

Türkter Shipyard, located in the Tuzla Private Sector Shipyards Zone, realizes the building of all types of marine vessels of varying tonnage and dimensions. The shipyard covers an area of approximately 48,000 square meters, including 18,600 square meters of covered space, a reinforced concrete cradle of 193mx38m dimensions, and a furnishing dock of 175mx12m dimensions. The shipyard has lifting equipment of adequate capacity, infrastructure units and a cradle to allow the building of 180 meter ships, and the facilities allow the handling of 8 vessels simultaneously. Our company realized the concrete paving of the cradle and crane ways and field concrete of Türkter Shipyard in 2005-2006.
