Evyap Port Facilities

The facilities are located in İzmit Gulf coast in Yarımca, Kocaeli. Evyap Port Facilities were constructed in 2003 for the gathering and transportation of the raw materials required for the production of soap by Evyap Soap, Oil, Glycerine Industry and Trade Inc., and are viewed today as a major investment to help meet the needs of the Turkish insdusty.

The following activities take place in the facilities each year:

600,000 tons/year container handling,
500,000 tons/year general cargo handling,
500,000 tons/year bulk cargo handling,
1,000,000 tons/year liquid bulk cargo handling.

The facilities include 240,000 square meters of total port area, 150,000 square meters of customs area, 50,000 square meters of parking, a quay and docks of various depths with a total of 1,171 meters of berth space. Our company realized the concrete paving of the quay and hinterland as coastal construction works in years 2000 to 2003.
